Navigating travel to and from Fiji – a simple checklist

Upon arrival in Nadi International Airport you will be greeted by our friendly Namotu Island staff.
Whether you’re arriving a day or two early or coming direct to Namotu, your journey to the island begins aboard one of our private air conditioned buses.
Our standard transfer boats depart from the Marriott at Momi Bay, a 45 minute car trip through Nadi town and down to the coast. The Namotu long boats will meet you at the Marriott Momi Bay and bring you across to the island, which usually takes about 25 minutes. Depending on your arrival time, you may be taken for breakfast in Denarau before heading down the the Marriott. These transfers are included as part of your package.
If you’d like to skip the long car ride, you can book a transfer on the Cobalt from Denarau instead. This is an additional cost but the boat can transfer up to 13 passengers.
Check in is 11:30am Sundays. We operate in 7 day blocks with checkout the following Sunday at 10am.
If requested by prior arrangement, a helicopter can fly you to the island in less than ten minutes, departing either from the Airport or Denarau. Price is roughly $250-300USD per person You can also arrange a transfer from Denarau via the Cobalt which seats up to 12pax.
Onward travel
If you’d like to extend your trip to Fiji or simply book an extra night or two before your visit to Namotu, we recommend the Marriott Momi Bay but there are many other options in the region.
